RS Fnatic EU have officially released their Dota 2 team. The team has been a part of Fnatic since November 2011. They were picked up after finishing 3rd at the ESWC 2011 in Paris, France. During their time in Fnatic, the team attended DreamHack Winter where they managed to take home the silver. In terms of online events, the team attended the likes of The Defense, The Premier League, RaidCall Dota 2 Cup and other. Recently however, the team has been performing very inconsistent.

Danijel "StreeT" Remus, general manager at Fnatic, had the following to say about the Dota team's departure:

"On behalf of our management team, I would like to thank the players for being loyal, cooperative, mannered and for a great relationship with our organization. We are always looking to support young and talented teams which is exactly what we have proven in this case, but it's time for both of us to continue in different directions. This however, does not mean that we will not support Dota 2 anymore, and news about our new squad will come soon."

Roster of ex-Fnatic DotA 2 squad:

RS Gordan 'Gordan' Prosic (Captain)
RS Marko 'BAJA' Jovanovic
RS Nenad 'grizine' Lukic
HR Damir 'Mitch' Skaricic
RS Viktor 'Buktop' Knezevic

Fnatic also stated that this isn't the end of their interest in DotA 2, so expect to hear from then again soon enough.
