ImagejoinDOTA has once again stirred up the competitive scene with the announcement of another international tournament: the joinDOTA Masters.

For the last couple of days, the joinDOTA forums have been bombarded with speculations regarding the secret that the fan-favourite shoutcaster Tobi “TobiWan” Dawson had vaguely stated during his stream of the Techlabs showmatch between UA Natus Vincere and RU DTS . And the secret has finally been unveiled, in the name of a new tournament presented by joinDOTA: the joinDOTA Masters.

With the current state of Dota 2 still in beta phase, lagging and delay issues have prevented most tournaments from gathering all the brightest names all across the world. The joinDOTA Masters tournament is designed to tackle these obstacles by being divided into five mini-tournaments that will be organized separately throughout different regions.

The schedule for the tournament is arranged as follow:
- Masters I: 22nd of March – Europe & America
- Masters II: 24th of March – Europe & America
- Masters II: 25th of March – Asia only
- Masters IV: 28-29th of March – Asia only
- Masters V: 31st of March – Europe & America

The overall format of the tournament will be single elimination best-of-one, apart from the Grand Final of each Masters being played in the best-of-three format. The champions of each division will take home $500 USD.

Along with the schedule and prize pool being announced, a portion of the participants has been confirmed. Along with arousing news regarding major Chinese players’ presence in Dota 2 lately, the joinDOTA Masters has welcomed Chinese powerhouses including CN Team DK , CN CLC and CN World Elite to the clashes. The brackets and participants will be further updated and can be viewed here

All matches of JoinDOTA Masters will be presented live in the joinDOTA’s official stream, featuring the dynamic shoutcasting force of Tobi “TobiWan Kenobi” Dawson.
