A lot of rumors about the future of Warcraft III in SK Gaming have spread during the last weeks and finally it's the time to announce the already anticipated changes.
All decisions have been made and all contracts are fixed and we're looking in a hopefully bright future of the newly formed SK Warcraft III in 2007.
Of course big changes always bring good and bad things and the entire team regrets that Zacard and Sweet had to make a decision between SK Gaming and Beijing eSport Team and had no choice than chosing their Chinese partner to keep in terms with the Korean army. Of course SK regrets to lose those strong players but also understands their decision and we wish them best luck for their future in China.
Losing two of it's best players, the Warcraft squad will face a new challenge to perform well in the tough international competiton, which is the reason why all forces will be united in SK Warcraft 3 in 2007. Hence, the old German Warcraft team will be closed, but the four active players SK.Miou, SK.Fire, SK.Fisch and our youngster SK.XlorD will stay in the SK roster and support the three remaining European players SK.HoT, SK.Deadman and SK.Insomnia at their best.
SK Gaming is proud to present this completely European team and the two managers SK.Enrique and SK.ownitsch predict a tough year for this newly formed underdog lineup that is for sure stronger than some opponents might expect. We wish good luck in 2007 to the new Warcraft III team and are looking forward to see some nice Clanwars and a lot of national and international success!
The new lineup of SK Gaming:
SK.Enrique (Team Manager)
SK.ownitsch (Team Manager)
SK.Deadman
SK.Fire
SK.Fisch
SK.HoT
SK.Insomnia
SK.Miou
SK.XlorD
Statement by SK|TheSlasH:
"After a lot of work to get everything on track, we are ready and well prepared for 2007 with the new roster of our Warcraft 3 squad. I am really sorry about losing Zacard and Sweet to BeT, but we all knew being in both teams can't last forever and I fully understand their decision. I will miss Zacard for sure and never forget the time he spent in Germany and all our football matches. Regarding the new team I am very confident for 2007 with the promising mix of International topplayers and our German youngsters and I am sure it will be more efficient to focus on one, strongly supported team in the future."
Statement by SK|ownitsch:
"I am very happy that all rumors which spread more and more during the last weeks can finally end with the announcement of the new squad. Of course I am sad about losing Zad and Sweet as we had a lot of fun together at the Games Convention last year, but I am also looking forward to the new challenge of running this new, pretty big team. For Enrique, who will be the strategical mastermind of the team, and me it will be a lot of work to form a successfull team out of the diversity of these players, but I am sure that this newly formed underdog can be good for some surprises in the upcoming tournaments and leagues."

insomnia, deadman and HoT are good though
don't see why everyone is bitching either, players can still be added whenever if necessary. Rosters are dynamic.
RotterdaM won't leave fnatic for SK.
But Ciara really deserves a better clan than MYM.dk...
Ciara is almost as good anyway..
