6 map on which SK|vilden shares his experience as a tactical mastermind with SK Insiders. After last months maiden article highlighted de_dust2 we now direct our focus to de_nuke. Christian "vilden" Lidstrom has come up with a quite unusual strategy which allows you to be creative and have various options open while running the tactic. Here is a part of the introduction to the strategy.
Nuke is an all time favorite map of many Counter-Strike players. The map is controled at a few chokepoints but also has a lot of very interesting wallbang spots which were shown in de_nuke wallbanged!. The standard attacks are a straight forward rush to the ramp or a rush to the upperbombpoint from the inside. But through the years we have seen many variations on these simple tactics. From sending two guys to the house towards upperbombpoint and three guys outside to the upperbombpoint, to rushing the outside and making your way to the ladder near CT spawn to surprise the players on the ramp.
A lot of the tactics' successrates depend on the positions from the defenders. Still we will show you one strategy which should give you a very high successrate when executed correctly.
