With the CPL World Tour stop in Brazil only a week away we can announce that our CS team will be going to compete for the $20,000 prize purse.
Great thanks to VBC who gave SK the financial assistance and opportunity to attend Rio de Janeiro, they are supporting the top teams to attend this event.
We have sad news to announce that out talented star whimp is unable to attend because of his tight schedule at school, but a skilled replacement will stand in. Josri "ziGa" Attia will be stepping in for whimp in Brazil. Once a teammate of our new recruit zonic, ziGa is a skilled player who will be able to settle in quickly and keep SK rolling into Brazil.
CPL Brazil Lineup
Jonas "calc" Gundersen
Simon "eGene" Kullenberg
Mike "spx" Lutzhoeft
Danny "zonic" Sørensen
Josri "ziGa" Attia
Here is a statement from SK|calc about ziGa and the CS event in Brazil:
It's very unfortunate for us whimp has such a tight schedule this first high school year. We really will miss him in our lineup down there, and wish him best of luck at his test. Meanwhile ziGa will fill in whimps spot in Denmark. A decision many people probably will question, but beeing zonic's old "soulmate" in Clan-IT these two will definately get some of the momentum going we highly need down there.
As for the event, we're going there with full motivation to grab a top spot. The location and venue is definately awesome, so it's gonna be a great time down there. Also, expect alot of diarys, pictures and stories from our trip. Hope people cheer for us :)
Here is the press release from VBC about the CPL World Tour stop in Brazil. After their great coverage from Rixhack, they have learnt alot from previous matches and will improve even more. Expect detailed analyis from vesslan and midway during the games, and the stars in Brazil to drop in and say a few words.
Stockholm - 21/05/05 - Virtual Broadcast, the new way of spectating your favorite virtual competitions, will be present in the upcoming CPL WorldTour stop in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.
The VBC is also proud to announce its support to what we believe is the key for a successful development of the industry, returning teams. VBC is sponsoring the Counter-Strike tournament and the support for bringing world class teams to the attenders list such as SK Gaming , Wings , SSV lehnitz , team 3D and also Complexity.
Featuring again Johan "vesslan" Ryman and Trevor "midway" Schmidt as our main commentators, you can expect deep in-game analysis from our experts. Stay tunned for guest appearances!

People starts writing bullshit, like jokaaa_. Sorry, but it's true.
You could say that SK, is Counter-Strike's "Real Madrid".
A team who is, just trying to improve their ranks.
And is Real Madrid, a 'bad ugly mofo'? No. That's just the way, the world functions.
And it allways will be.
Teams with money, can buy better players - and it's the teams own money. They earned it, why not use it? Is it a shame to use money, to improve a team? No.
Cheers, gl at rio.
I'm not against it and I'm really looking forward to a great tournament but I am thinking about the financial aspect that must be mentioned in an organisation such as SK-Gaming as well.
right as well #136 :)
SK is going to lose vs lame teams and wont even play with mibr
