The reasons why I think that I should be a beta tester is that I won't be using them just for gaming. I am an accounting major at university. So I stare at computer screens for a larger portion of my day than most people. Along with my my major I am an avid PC gamer so usually when work is done I don't go anywhere I just load up a game such as DoTA 2, LoL, BF3, or Skyrim. Part of the problem with all of the PC usage is that it really strains my eyes and causes me some pain. I want to know if these will really do what they advertise and help end that eye strain.

I have been a fan of SK gaming ever since I first started playing WoW and I saw SK's 3v3 team play, go Pookz. But now that I have quit WoW I follow the LoL team and I love watching Ocelote play.

I feel that I will be able to give a different view on these because of the previous reasons. Thank you for holding this event to give back to your fans, and I hope that I make the cut to beta test for both you and Gunnar

You should pick me for the GUNNAR Optik's giveaway for three main reasons:

1. I've been a hardcore gamer for 9 years. After we got our first gaming PC my freshmen year of high school, I have been playing non-stop. I play a variety of games and hop on console here and there. Gaming is my life.

2. I've been following eSports since CGS and have loved every minute of it. I'm not as involved or "old school" as some of these people here, but my love for it grows everyday and consider myself a part of this world.

3. I'm a budding eSports entrepreneur. I just started a website called The Spawn Room and am working to bring new content and features to the eSports community. You should pick me, because I sit at my computer like 15 hours/day and I am hardcore gamer.. If you pick me, my chances to beat Rapha will be still low :D But someday, maybe.. ^^ This will help in my practicing :D

Why should you pick me instead of anybody ?
Because if I receive that glasses i will wear them all the time, in the street, at the school, when I play, etc.

(I make a lot of lan competitions)

i believe you should pick me as a beta tester as i like playing computer games a lot even though my eyes are somewhat fragile to computer screens resulting in me not being able to stare long at a screen.

i know that if these glasses make a difference i would definitely see it.

First of all I would like to begin with a short introduction about my eyes after about 14 years of gaming. Since I was 5 I have been playing all kinds of games on all kinds of platforms such as gaming consoles, PC, portable devices and so forth. After all these years of playing, staring I feel that my eyes are getting tired faster thus decreasing my in-game performace especially in demanding FPS games. Before about 6-7 years ago I did not pay attention, since it was not as serious, but now I really do care about my eyes.
Now I am not playing this much anymore because of personal reasons (university etc) but also because I do not want to experience more eyes problems in the coming years. Since I do have to use computer for at least 5-6 hours a day and I want to protect my eyes I want something that could help me.
If I get to test those glasses I will definitely give you in-depth feedback reagarding my eyes during gaming and general computer usage.

I would like to test these glasses. I am a gamer that goes overboard on gaming. My eye strain has become a bit annoying from doing everyday activities. If these would help decrease the strain, then I will do what I can to spread the word out in my circles. Any way to improve my gaming is very much appreciated.

Hello, my name is Tyler and I'm from Minnesota. I am not an incredibly hard-core gamer, but I do play an average of 25-30 hours weekly. I think you should pick me for the beta testing of the Gunnar glasses because I am truly skeptical about them. If I don't think they help my gaming, I would be honest and give a sub-par review, unlike many people who would just be happy to get a free pair that they would give a good review no matter what. Another reason I think I am a good candidate for these is because most of the people that are applying to receive these are PC game players, while I play Call of Duty; MW3 and am currently a part of a small, but serious clan, HxTc. If these glasses really work wonders, which I am willing to find out, I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend them to my entire clan, along with other clans that we have battles against. Hi i'm Synapse aka Brian. I've been doing two things for most of my life, school and gaming. I'm Currently a 6th semester student studying neurobiology and find myself planted in front of a computer for most the day. Reading online text books, doing brain dissections through computer programs (and in lab) or playing SC2, DotA2 or any other competitive game.

I would be a good pick to beta test some new glasses because I can produce a professional write-up of my findings (I have been conditioned to do so through being in the science field) I spend enough time in front of the computer that my eyes will experience strain. This is bothersome and requires me to take brakes from both my work and leisure activities. A pair of glasses would be thoroughly tested and reviewed by me.

i do music for tv/film/games/commercials. on screen average 12 hours daily (albeit a big screen:) and once a week i'm on for 24 hours at a time, overnight doing a commercial with a deadline. AND.... my 8 year son plans on being a video game designer, been to 2 designer camps already, has 4 different platforms and hundreds of games, is obsessive. (plays iphone games on the toilet cause i won't let him have a wii/playstation/x-box in there). SO......... when i'm not editing/mixing music on my computer rig I'm playing games with him on his. he's annoyingly good. we'll be wrestling over who gets the glasses..... but it's all good.

also i forgot to mention in the above post, i've had 6 retina detachments in the last 2 years and have been wearing sunglasses to cut down on glare while on computer, so these would really be helpful!

I suffer of hidrocepalus and i have a problem of dry eyes when i spent long time on the computer and sometimes that finish on headaches. I've tried 2 pairs of glasses with different results , so i think that i MUST try the GUNNARS to see if them can make a difference on keep my eyes relaxed :] (I bet that the GUNNARS never were tested on someone like me before :O :p ).
Beside my eyes problem i have to say that those glasses looks awesome :D and make someone look ''more gamer'' :P and like a lot of people said before , im really skeptical about the product :).

well ,gunnar is huge amongst gamers and enthusiasts in europe and america,it is name which spells supremacy in the western world ,but in asia most people dont know how supreme their products ,and the products which they endorse are.malaysia ,the country in which I live in,is the most technologically advanced and a country which has raw talent and enthusiasam for gaming .it is a giant gaming nation hoping to be waken up by the prince that is gunnar and catapult it into the stardom of gaming.
so,im a malaysian engineering student and a huge gamer and when enthusiasm ,talent of gaming and brains personify,you get to have yours trully i.e. me but I am missing a true counter part to succed in whatever I do,be it gaming or counless hours of internet research or studieng innumberable slides on powerpoint during the exams ,and,i think, that should be ,would be and must be from gunnar and gunnar only.
