ImageAfter the loss of Faruk 'pita' Pita to retirement yesterday, fnatic have called in former ESC Gaming star Andreas 'moddii' Fridh to join their ranks.

SE Andreas 'moddii' Fridh has been announced to be SE Fnatic ’s new player, as he will replace BA Faruk 'pita' Pita who declared his retirement yesterday. Fridh’s most recent stint was in SE ESC Gaming swe, where he stood out as one of the most talented players of the year and managed to place 16th in the top players of 2011 by

fnatic's in-game leader SE cArn gave the following statement:

"Today I'm excited to welcome Andreas "Moddii" Fridh to the Fnatic family as the fifth players of the Counter-Strike 1.6 team. Moddii has during the last years been considered as the most promising rifle player in Sweden, if not the world, and I´m curious to see how much impact he can do representing the black and oranges. I think the timing of this recruit is just right and I'm positive that Andreas will come in to the group with professionalism and motivation, something we really value here in the Fnatic camp. You can expect to see the new squad perform in the upcoming IEM finals at Cebit, and before that we will get together for a bootcamp to make sure everything clash going into the finals we are aiming to win."

The first chance to see the new team in action will be at the IEM6 World Championship Finals, which take place in March.
