Seong Won 'MMA' Mun is the IEM VI Global Challenge champion, as the South Korean hotly tipped to become the eventual champion defeated home soil hero Dmytro 'DIMAGA' Filipchuk 3:1 in the final. He wins $6,500 and, along with DIMAGA, will be at the IEM VI World Championship in March.

DIMAGA managed to put the threat of an upset in the air after taking the first map but MMA was not to be defeated and took the required three maps in a row.







Despite nine of the 16 players in the tournament being Protoss, and four of the eight quarter-finalists, no Protoss player made it into the top 4.
