It was a very exciting and good organized tournament. The ReflexGT 7 was hosted at the Kaos Gamecenter in Weesp, Netherlands last weekend, but the tournament had some organisation changes. More prize money, extended Triple-Elimination Tournament,a lot more Live-Coverage and a sixth 4v4 Station made the ReflexGT 7 even better.



The first surprise of the tournament was the win from Corentin 'Gotaga' Houssein's Past-Clan mythiX eSport about apeX-eSports .UK, his new organisation. The winner of the last Reflex, played very strong, but Mythix was even a bit better.

mythiX eSport showed strong accomplishment the whole tournament and so they went deserved into the final. apeX-eSports .UK went down into the Middle Bracket and had to face Infused, who took down Zen Gaming at the Loser Bracket Final.


In a very intensive match, both teams showed why they are one of the best European COD teams at the moment, but in the end apeX-eSports .UK won the match with 4:2. At the final apeX-eSports .UK had to face again mythiX eSport , with the better end for apeX-eSports .UK. One of the top guys of the final was Corentin 'Gotaga' Houssein, who made the different between both teams and decided S&D with a nice 3 piece.

Overall it was an exciting match and both teams were on the same level, but apeX-eSports .UK won the match with 6:5 and take home 1600 €. This was the third LAN tournament win for apeX-eSports .UK in a arrow, something like this didn't reached any COD team before.

Also a lot of German teams showed up at the ReflexGT 7. The best was the team around Ex-SK Member's Max 'Tapout' Anders, Milan 'MiLiX' Mladanovic and Kevin 'raidN' Kreutzberg who are playing now for apeX-eSports .Ger.

The tournament started not very good and they lost their first match with 2:0. After wins about Envied.Pickups.PS3, T.A.F.A and Fariko.ENG in the Middle Bracket, they had to face LowLandLions. But in a enthralling match LowLandLions played a bit batter and won the match with 2:3. In the Looser Bracket the team around captain Max 'Tapout' Anders won against BRB, Taking a Dump, but lost their match against Team Foreign. In the end apeX-eSports .Ger finished the tournament with a good 12th place.

All in all it was a very good tournament, with a lot of exciting matches. The organisation of the tournament was very good and the livestream had over 2.000 viewer every time. With a good feedback from the teams and the hoster, a few more LAN's will be hosted at the Kaos Gamecenter in Weesp. The next tournament date is in three weeks, than the BOA (Battle of Amsterdam) will be hold up in Amsterdam, which is not far away from Weesp.
