IEM VI Kiev Day 4: M5 wins the IEM LoL Final!
The last games of the IEM in Kiev has been played we know our winner, M5 takes home the big prize.
Moscow Five , yes that is the name of the newest big team in town. They have been practicing a lot making claims that they will take home the trophy and they made it true.
Team SoloMid was able to stomp M5 one game but in the end they could not stop the Russian force.
Throughout the games we mostly see the same bans and picks which were the following:
Game one was won due to the good counterjungle from M5 with Galio stealing some blue buffs making it very hard for Cassiopeia playing her game. In game two TSM managed to keep their own jungle safe getting an early level 1 first blood and a second kill after which they dominated M5 harder as they got dominated themselves in the first game.
In the last game what made the game was the amazing play by
Daniel 'Diamondprox' Reshetnikov and
Eugeny 'Darien' Mazaev who constantly stole the enemy jungle making it very hard for
Brian 'TheOddOne' Willey to level. Around the 20 minute marker Skarner had level 11 while Lee Sin was only level 8. Both Russian players timed the jungle perfectly stealing everything as it spawned making it very hard for TSM to force anything into their advantage, resulting in the second loss in this best of 3.
Congratulations to M5 on an amazing tournament and taking home the $12000 prize , TSM does not go home empty handed as they win $6000. MVP of this IEM has been voted for and it is Diamondprox from M5!
