fnatic are in prime position to win Group B of IEM VI Kiev following two straight wins in their first two games. First of all fnatic came back to win against WinFakt Fi, they followed that up with a big win over Mousesports .



The first map saw fnatic in bad shape in the first half on inferno vs. the Finns of WinFakt. The Finnish team got to nine T rounds, a very solid lead on that map, even despite giving up a string of rounds went into the half knowing a win was possible against the favoured Swedes. That possibility seemingly evaporated when fnatic laid down a dominant terrorist half to exceed even when the Finns had just done. The later the game got the less WinFakt seemed capable of winning rounds and they bowed out under the force of fnatic's attacks.

The second game, against mouz, should have been highly anticipated as both were not only teams with a legitimate shot at making the playoffs but also teams who had clashed a number of times in the last few months. Those previous matches had always been close affairs and each team was well matched up across the map pool. This time around it was anything but evenly matched. fnatic once more dominated the T side of inferno, this time in the first half. After their monster 12 round first half mouz couldn't even get into their game by it was over.

fnatic have now booked their spot in the playoffs and whether they will finish first or second will depend on whether or Moscow Five wins their next game, being as their draw would give them the one point advantage if they defeated fnatic. If Moscow Five loses and mouz beats WinFakt then the Germans will go through if their round difference is better.
