As TSM was too late for the first game we had SK playing against White Lotus. Supposedly the easiest game for SK in this tournament, here is the recap!

White Lotus bans(first): Rammus/ Morgana/ Cassiopeia
SK Gaming bans: Karthus/ Tryndamere/ Vayne

White Lotus picks(first): Skarner/ Taric, Graves/ Brand, Yorick
SK Gaming picks: Maokai, Sivir/ Soraka, Irelia/ Kassadin

Lanes:
Top: Yorick vs. Irelia
Mid: Brand vs. Kassadin
Bot: Taric, Graves vs. Soraka, Sivir
Jungle: Skarner vs. Maokai

Both teams started with a spread set-up in their own jungle. There wasn't a level one fight.

First gank came by Maokai on the top lane onto Yorick who ghosted away. Afterwards Maokai tried to flash back in but failed missing the snare. Maokai moved onto the mid lane to gank Brand there but no succes. Meanwhile Graves and Taric had to fall back.

Skarner came in on the bottom lane as both Soraka and Sivir were aggressive but no deaths/kills.

Maokai went for the enemy blue while Skarner checks the SK blue but he first showed himself bottom which gave his plans away. A clairvoyance goes down as Skarner tried to take the blue which gave Skarner the warning to move out before it is to late.

White Lotus made a move on the bottom lane but SK saw this in time and moved back.

10 minutes into the game and nothing groundbreaking happened though SK is 900 gold ahead.

White Lotus set up for the dragon but SK knew this as they had a pink ward in the river. SK moved in, Skarner flashed out of the pit using his ultimate on Sivir, Sivir still got first blood but dies together with Maokai. But SK managed to pick up 4 kills for 2. Brand and Kassading both pick up 2 kills. Kassadin picked up a blue after that fight.

Maokai and Kassadin went for Brand but they didn't get a kill as Skarner came in and Kassadin flashed out of fear for the Skarner ultimate. They moved towards the enemy blue after this taking it easily.

Kassadin moved onto the bottom lane powering up his ultimate in the brush behind the tier one tower. Skarner was around but had no clue yet. Then it happened, Sivir and Soraka moved in and together with Kassadin's burst they took down Graves and Taric. SK came out with no casualties. Brand and Skarner came in to late and couldn't change the outcome. Soraka left the bottom tier one tower for the minions to destroy while SK went for dragon at the 15 minute marker. SK was 5k gold ahead at that time.

Kassadin bursted on Taric but no kill in the mid lane. White Lotus gathered mid around 18 minutes, SK kept 4 players mid as Irelia went top to push.

Moakai started a teamfight going in, Brand couldn't do enough damage on SK, Taric died first followed by Skarner and soon the rest of the team as Irelia came in and aced the enemy team. Tier one and two towers on mid went down and at the 20 minute mark SK was 10k gold ahead.

Taric tried to escape from Kassadin with a stund and a flash over the wall but Kassadin followed up easily with the help of a clairvoyance. Sivir and Irelia took the tier one top tower but then in came Skarner with Yorick followed by Brand who picked up the kill on Sivir. Irelia got away.

Top lane Irelia found Taric all alone picking up an easy kill there.

Top tier two tower went down and SK pushed in fast with a Shurelia/Sivir move speed burst. 3 died on the SK side for 4 on the WL side where Sivir died to the tower. Tier 3 tower got flattened, inhibitor remains standing. SK was 13k gold ahead at that time in the game.

SK went for the top inhibitor after a recall. WL stood back a bit trying to damage SK but SK still took the inhibitor with ease. They moved towards mid straight after catching Skarner. With Skarner out SK moved onto Baron baiting WL with Kassadin waiting in the brush, WL went into the river area and SK comes back to help out Kassadin. Irelia died but SK pick up 3 kills, baron remained alive. They chased Brand who they kill, Skarner died again and the tier three tower on mid went down. SK left the inhibitor up.

SK fell back after 27 minutes, buying some items and healing up. Score at this time was 7-23 in favor of SK which resulted in a 16k gold difference.

SK moved in on the mid inhibitor they took it with ease rotating towards the bottom where they took the tier two tower utilising another burst move with Sivir ultimate and Shurelia's Revery. Big ace in favor of SK and that was the GG from White Lotus who lost their first game.
