EG Zerg star IdrA's 1on1 interviews comes to a close with a final part discussing his Protoss opponents, SC2's development in Korea and the highs and lows of competing.American Zerg star
Gregory 'IdrA' Fields of EG is featured in a three part SK Gaming 1on1 interview series. IdrA spent time as one of the only foreigner BW pros on a proteam, CJ Entus, in South Korea before switching over to SC2. He is now considered one of the best foreigners and Zergs in the world.
In part three, the final part, IdrA discusses Protoss opponents he has faced, Korea's development in SC2 and the highs and lows of competition.
How satisfied is IdrA with his performance in SC2 so far? Should he have won more games vs.
MC than he has? How do "foreigners get overrated"? Would any foreigner Zerg be classed as one of the top 5 Zergs in the world according to him? How about Terrans or Protoss for their respect races? Will there ever be full crossover between MLGs and GSLs?
Does the team league aspect of SC2 need to develop in the same way as the Proleague was the core of Korean BW? What are the best and worst things about SC2? What is the downside of winning? Which moment stands out as the best in IdrA's career?
(Note: this interview was conducted at ESWC 2011)
