Fnatic’s newest arrival in the team has been crowned MVP of DreamHack Winter 2011 by HLTV.org, which is voted on by experts and the public.Only a month has passed since DreamHack Winter 2011 took place, which saw
fnatic take gold. HLTV.org once again composed statistics from the event, showing the top 18 players statistically and allowed the public and experts to vote for who they thought deserved the MVP crown as well as the All-Star line-up of the event.
It was no other than
Michael 'Friis' Jørgensen who managed to take the MVP award, who is the latest addition to the
fnatic squad, and no doubt had a huge influence on the teams golden win. His performance was fairly consistent throughout, and helped his team take victory more than most during the last map of the Grand Final against
Lions swe, coming out with a 1.81 rating. He also came out as the best sniper of the tournament, with 0.37 awpKPR.
The All-Star line-up saw two of
Lions swe feature in the form of Emil 'FYRR73' Karlsson and Niklas 'niko' Johansson. The team took a respectable second place in the tournament after a 2-1 loss to
fnatic . Joining them was
Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov, who played an impressive performance but unfortunately this didn’t stop his team from missing out on the final, ending up in third place after a win over
Mousesports .
