ImageJust before Christmas saw WinFakt enter the competitive League of Legends scene with the pick-up of Team Pony.

With 2012 on the horizon, the successful CS organisation BE WinFakt chose to pick-up a League of Legends team to compete for their share of the $5 million prize money available in Season 2.

WinFakt chose to sign the former Team Pony who had been sitting at the top of the 5 x 5 ranked queue within League of Legends.

The new line-up consists of:

DE Johannes 'Firemane811' Lewerenz
BE Jorge 'MiLKxMe' Zarokostas
DK Kasper 'TheTess' Poulsen
UK Isaac 'Akilord' Pelham-Chipper
UK Ryan 'Akamez' Buxton

The WinFakt team captain DE Johannes 'Firemane811' Lewerenz had this to say on joining WinFakt:

"I'm very excited since it's my first time being picked up by an organisation. WinFakt treated us excellent so far and we're really looking forward to work with them.
Due to my lack of experience I had to ask alot of questions, but Endel is being very patient with me and I appreciate it. Also it appears to me that they have a solid organisation within their company, which makes alot of things easier."

WinFakt Team Manager Endel gave this statement on signing Pony:

"We saw that LoL scene is getting bigger and bigger with each day, we knew that we want to be a part of it for 2012. So we decided to take a young and motivated team, so we could have a long term of future together and we can see how they will work hard on our future goals, with hard work comes experience."
