EG has teased with a tweet saying they will add a new SC2 player on Friday December 30th who is "not from around here".

Evil Geniuses have teased via their twitter account that the organisation will add a new SC2 player on Friday December 30th. No other information was included, except for a vague potential clue.

Potential candidates put forwards by the community have included

Jin-Young 'JYP' Park,

Sang-Ho 'Killer' Shin and

Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang. JYP is a GSL Code S player and has been repeatedly suggested, apparently even discussed amongst famous players on one of their streams, while other feel Moon fits the clue from the tweet better. It's also worth noting that EG has a partnership with South Korea proteam SlayerS, who are currently hosting IdrA and HuK in Korea.

The tweet from the official EG twitter account yesterday:

"This Friday (Dec. 30), a new player will join the @EvilGeniuses StarCraft II team. Let's just say...he's not from around here. #2012"

EG has a history of recruiting established talent. In September of 2010 IdrA was brought onboard, weeks removed from his IEM V Gamescom 2nd place finish. In July of 2011 PuMa joined, less than a month after his NASL S1 final victory. In August of 2011 they landed HuK, a couple of months after his Dreamhack Summer and HomeStoryCup III victories.
