GSL Blizzard Cup 2011 champion crowned
After MMA and DongRaeGu clashed in the GSL Blizzard Cup 2011 final the champion has been crowned and awarded his $33.6k prize.
Seong Won 'MMA' Mun beat Soo Ho 'DongRaeGu' Park to be crowned GSL Blizzard Cup 2011 and win $33,650 in prize money. The GSL Code S October champion looked to be headed for a sweep, up 3:0, but DRG's much-vaunted ZvT saw the Zerg come roaring back to knot the series. The deciding game turned a potentially heartbreaking reverse-sweep against the SlayerS Terran into ecstasy, as he came through to win the title.
This victory put MMA into 4th place on the all time SC2 prize winnings list with $135,460. DongRaeGu jumped up to 11th with his $63,745. Both players emerged during 2011 as elite level representatives of their respective races.
