missE leaves Virtus.Pro
Virtus.Pro have announced that missE will be retiring from the team, which comes shortly after the teams disappointing performance at WCG Grand Finals.
It’s thought that
Vadim 'mice' Zimin from
Virtus.Pro will be retiring from professional gaming for good, which is no surprise after the teams disappointing performance at WCG 2011, with a 16-3 and 16-5 loss against
DTS in the tournament. It's currently unknown who will be the official replacement.
This weekend will see the ASUS Cup take place in
Kiev. After the sudden departure from the team it was unknown if the team would still attend the event. Now
Virtus.Pro have made it clear that the team will still travel to Kiev, however they will use a stand-in in the form of
USSR player Denis 'seized' Kostin, with the temporary replacement being nothing more than temporary for now as
seized is thought to continue playing in
USSR after ASUS Cup is over. The team have been placed into Group B, facing the likes of
NINJA TURTLES,
NOVA and
snT.
