It looks a little bit like Windows 8: The brand new dashboard update for the Xbox 360, which will be available today for free. Sky Go, TV and a over-worked design are just 3 of the many new features.

With the new update for the console from Microsoft a lot of new features are available and also a new menu, which follows the model of Windows 8 and the Windows OS. The Update, which Microsoft announced in November 2011, should make the Xbox 360 to an interactive entertainment and television service.

With the cooperation between Microsoft and the ZDF a new feature will be available:

The Television with the Xbox 360! You can watch the normal TV program with your Xbox 360. You'll never have to search your remote control, because with Kinect for Xbox 360, you can use your voice. Just say the name of the program you want to watch and the Xbox will start the stream.

Not just ZDF will be available, also a lot of more broadcasting cooperation's think about streaming their broadcast on the Xbox 360. Sky Go is a name for all users from the UK: You have to pay a certain money every month and you can see new films, series and live sports. Now this feature is available for the German Xbox users as well.

Not all features will be available up now, some features will be patched in December or next year. A list with all new and upcoming features/ services you'll find below:
