CLG drama stems from a lack of professionalism?

ImageRecently there has been a high-profile switch within the most prestigious LoL team from the North American server, CLG. MonteCristo from ggChronicle has analysed if this stems from a lack of professionalism.

Within the last two weeks we have seen CA Counter Logic Gaming drop their long-standing support player CA Cody 'Elementz' Sigfusson to their bench to allow for US Peter 'DoubleLift' Peng return to the line-up.

While this in itself might have been unexpected, it wasn't particularly unusual. However since then there has been fallout with parties from both sides making comments that perhaps should have remained private.

This has raised the question of professionalism within the League of Legends scene. After all, the game is new to the eSports scene and many unknown and often young players have found themselves as virtual eCelebrities over night. This has occasionally led to embarrassing scenes which harm the scene on the whole.

With this in the air, US MonteCristo from ggChronicle has taken an in-depth look at the whole CLG affair.
