Wild Honey Badgers wins the Vengeance Corsair after battling through the BYOC qualifier and beating fnatic in the final. SK Gaming beats Team Shakira in the third place decider. While they were not granted an invite, Wild Honey Badgers managed to win the Vengeance Corsair at Dreamhack Winter 2011. After dominating the BOYC qualifier and the group stage, they found themselves in the final versus fnatic whom they've already beaten in the group stage.
What followed was impressive; fnatic took the first game easily and almost won the second game as well but captain Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen and his team completely turned it around in a very close second game and finished fnatic off in a third game.
SK Gaming manages to secure the third spot beating Team Shakira in the third place decider after losing to Wild Honey Badgers . SK Gaming struggled throughout the group phase but showed a better performance in their last match. Martin 'AngeL' Olsen was disappointed with the team's result but assured to expect bigger things from the team in Kiev at the Dota 2 Star Championship.
Standings:
1.
Wild Honey Badgers ($7340.00)
2.
fnatic ($3670.00)
3.
SK Gaming ($2200.00)
4.
Team Shakira ($1500.00)
