DTS has been crowned the winners of season 9 of the Intel Challenge Super Cup which was held online. Coming from the lower bracket, the team ended up playing four maps in total against AGAiN , without falling in a single one.

Starting the game was de_train, which ended up being taken into overtime after a surprising match, where both teams ended up having strong terrorist side play for a map which is usually heavily CT biased. Both teams managed to secure 8 terrorist rounds in total, in a map where it’s not uncommon to only gain 2 or 3 rounds terrorist side. Eventually, the map went into overtime where DTS managed to step up their game to win four out of the five rounds, ending the score 21-17.

DTS managed to end the first bo3 by winning the second map, de_dust2. Once again they were on a roll and proved themselves to be one of the top teams by managing to pick up an amazing 14 rounds in CT side in the first half, the second half saw them keep up this play where they only needed to pick up 2 rounds to seal the win, which was done easily after having won the pistol round. This gave them the win 16-1 respectively, ending the first bo3 with a 2-0 score.



During the second bo3, the first map became extremely close for both teams. De_nuke saw both teams battle it out and it was unclear throughout who was going to pick up the win, due to both teams exchanging rounds evenly. Eventually, DTS secured their third win against the Poles 16-14. The next map and final map once again was de_dust2. AGAiN’s team play appeared to be slightly better than previous on this map, receiving five rounds in total in contrast to the mere one round before, but clearly their play wasn’t as strong as the Ukrainians as they once again fell to DTS with a 16-5 score line, losing them the game.
