AGAiN player Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas has been named MVP of SEC 2011 after HLTV.org calculated the voting from a panel of experts and the public. TaZ, who went under the name 742 during the event, received 77.3% of the experts' votes and 56.0% of the public's votes. The Pole, known for his impressive aggressive play, finished 68.2% ahead of team-mate, and all time great individual player, NEO in the experts' MVP voting.



As might be expected three of the phenomenal AGAiN championship side made it into the All-Star team. Shockingly though none of the runnerup Natus Vincere lineup made the list. Instead Timi 'aslak' Verkkoperä of WinFakt Fi and Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund of SK Gaming were voted in.



AGAiN won SEC following an incredible final vs. Na`Vi that saw the Poles put on a clinic in aggressive play. After only putting up eight CT rounds on train they switched over and blasted past the Ukrainians with a powerful nine T rounds in 11 rounds played. On dust2, the second map, Na`Vi's usually formidable d2 T side was made to look entirely impotent as the Poles smashed back any attacks with aggressive and near perfectly timed pushes as CT. After taking 12 CT rounds the final seemed all but done, and despite a comeback by Na`Vi the victory went to the home team.

aslak and WinFakt finished 3rd at the event, losing to Na`Vi in a three map semi-final. The Finns also managed to upset AGAiN on nuke in the group stage. SK Gaming and GeT_RiGhT were eliminated in the quarter-final by Na`Vi, taking a map during the series. SK were also upset by e-Sahara during the group stage, also on nuke.
