KR Soo Ho 'DongRaeGu' Park is the champion of the IEM VI Global Challenge New York after a 3:2 series ZvZ victory over KR Won Ki 'FruitDealer' Kim in the final. DRG came into the final as the heavy favourites thanks to his Dreamhack Valencia and MLG placings in the last few months but found himself on the brink of elimination at the hands of GSL S1 champion Fruitdealer only two maps into the final. DRG rallied to win three maps in a row and the title in dramatic fashion.

In professional BW there have been a few famous reverse sweeps, GGPlay's 2007 Daum OSL comeback to defeat Iris was perhaps the most dramatic, thanks to the amazing defiler holds on the final map, but Jaedong's win over Fantasy in the 2009 Batoo OSL also springs to mind. In 2010 EffOrt came back to defeat Flash in the Korean Air OSL, denying the Terran the golden mouse in his first attempt. Interestingly these series were all ZvTs in which the Zerg player came out on top.

DongRaeGu quickly rose to fame for his ZvT excellence in South Korea, impressing many spectators. Since then he has solidified himself as a top player with a 5th at MLG Anaheim, 3rd at MLG Raleigh, 1st at the Dreamhack Valencia Invitational and 2nd in the Arena of Legends. In GSL October Code S he was stopped in the Ro16.

Fruitdealer quickly became the most famous player in SC2 early on as he dramatically won the first GSL, taking down around $85,000 in prize money. Since then his results have been progressively worse and worse. He has never again made it to the Ro8 of a GSL. In GSL May Code S he made it to the Ro16 before losing to eventual champion NesTea. In GSL October he finished 9th-16th in Code A.
