DreamHack Arena Upgraded

ImageDreamHack organizers have announced that due to incredible support for eSports and especially DreamHack in general, DreamHack will be upgrading their venue to allow 4000 or more spectators to enjoy eSports at its finest.

DreamHack has always pushed the bar on what it means to be an eSport's competition, especially for Starcraft 2, and has always been given rave reviews it terms of quality of the matches, preparation, and just overall viewing experience for not only the live audience, but also the potential thousands of viewers on the internet. DreamHack has been getting better every year, and it seems that with its grand final at DreamHack Winter they wish to push the bar even higher.

In an attempt to appease the massive audience that attends the DreamHack events every year, it has been announced that DreamHack will be renting out the Kinnarps Arena, an immense ice hockey arena, where over 4000 gamers can come in and view DreamHack Winter in all of its entirely both in comfort and in style.

"Today DreamHack, Sapphire, AMD and Telia takes the next leap forward, presenting the next generation of esports entertainment. At DreamHack Winter 2011 we’ll enter Kinnarps Arena, one of Sweden’s largest ice hockey arenas, where over 4.000 eSports fans can watch the best live esports entertainment in the world.

The show will feature the final matches including the Grand Final of DreamHack Sapphire AMD Championship in StarCraft II where a whooping $59,200 are at stake. We will also show great matches in Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition and Quake Live during the evening.

DreamHack Winter 2011 will be held on the 24-27th of November 2011 in Jönköping, Sweden, and will feature 64 extremely talented players in Starcraft 2. It will also play host to various other popular eSport titles played all around the world.
