Imagefnatic moved past WinFakt in two straight maps, winning with relative ease in spite of the scorelines.

SE fnatic handled FI WinFakt Fi in two maps, somewhat comfortably, to move into the final and face DE Mousesports for the title. WinFakt will face CN eFuture in the third place decider tomorrow at 4:00am, the same time as the final.

IEM VI Global Challenge Guangzhou semi-final #2:
SE fnatic 2:0 FI WinFakt Fi
-16:8 nuke (T 9:6 CT 7:2)
-16:9 train (CT 11:4 T 5:5)

The first map, nuke, saw fnatic leap out to 3:0, 5:2 and 7:3 leads. WinFakt clawed back some rounds as the half went on and managed to get the score to 7:6 for fnatic. On the key 14th round cArn won a 1v1 against lurppis at the lower bombsite to ensure his team won the first half. In the second half WinFakt took the pistol round but then fnatic's defense became impregnable and the Swedes cruised to a first map win.

The second map was train and the Finns came in looking quite harmless as fnatic's defensive wall racked up a 10:0 lead. The half ended 11:4 for fnatic as WinFakt again took rounds late in the half. When fnatic took the pistol round they were all of four rounds from the finish line, allowing them the luxury of a relatively pressure-free terrorist side. Despite some round wins by the Finnish team fnatic eventually got their 16th round and took the map and the series.
