After several days of waiting, and threats of legal action between organizations Complexity and Millenium over French Zerg Stephano, an ending has been reached. Stephano will stay on Millenium but must pay a large fine.It was reported earlier in the week that French Zerg
Ilyes 'Stephano' Satouri had decided to join Complexity Gaming, and it was met with much approval from the Starcraft 2 community all around the world. However, immediately the day after French team Millenium, Stephano's old team announced that he had decided to stay with Millenium.
Millenium accused Complexity of "disorienting" Stephano to come and join the American organization, and immediately the community knew that Starcraft 2 drama was incoming. It was noted that Stephano had signed a legal bounding contract with Complexity Gaming, thus the situation was confusing as Stephano supposedly made this choice, however, Millenium shot back and was working diligently to keep one of its most successful players.
However, after several days of discussion between the two premier gaming organizations, a settlement was reached and it was decided that Stephano would be required to pay a large fine in due part because of his indecisiveness, and because of his role in creating the entire situation and malice between Complexity and Millenium.

With the entire controversy settled it seems that Stephano will stay on Millenium, and will participate in gaming events under the Millenium banner and name. Complexity retains their roster and continues to be one of the premier Starcraft 2 organizations not only in North America but around the globe as well.

Jason Bass COO of Complexity Gaming Released a Statement:
"It was never compLexity's intention to damage the career of a young eSports talent nor to force someone to join our gaming organization who did not want to. We did, however, feel that maintaining the integrity of the player contract was crucial not only for our own business but for eSports in general. For that reason, we are satisfied that there has been a strong penalty, as player contracts need to be respected going forward.
We would also like to respectfully address the concerns of the French community who are upset that we did not have a more direct negotiation with Millenium during this process. Due to the fact Stephano was not contracted by Millenium and the fact he stated he was receiving counter offers in response to our discussions, we did not contact Millenium directly and for that we are regretful and apologize for any perceived disrespect."

CEO of Millenium Cedrix Page also Released a Statement:
"Millenium has never ignored on purpose any attempt from Complexity to establish communication. Time difference fully accounts for the few hours it took us to respond to them. Additionally, Millenium was never aware of, nor involved in, a bidding/counterbidding process with Complexity over Stephano's contract situation.
All things being now clarified, and after a calm discussion with Complexity, we would also like to apologize for stating that Complexity 'disoriented' Stephano during their talks with him. It was an inappropriate comment and we did not mean to be disrespectful. We are very happy to clarify this, as we had decided to discuss with Complexity before stating anything more than our last statement"
