eFuture & TyLoo have both secured slots in the IEM6 Global Challenge Guangzhou after reaching the finals of the Chinese qualifier.

Both

TyLoo and

eFuture have secured spots in the IEM VI Global Challenge Guangzhou after proving their worth at the Chinese qualifier for the event.

TyLoo won their spot in the event after easily defeating

ESP on de_tuscan, with a score of 16:2, followed by a 16:7 victory on de_inferno. eFuture on the other hand went head to head against

teamwork and had to battle their way through three maps before securing their spot in the event.

According to HLTV.org, ESL have contacted different South Korean teams who have all declined the final GC Guangzhou spot. As a result, the fate of the eighth slot is currently unknown.

Nevertheless, the $40,000 IEM VI Global Challenge Guangzhou will take place from the 1st-5th October 2011. Furthermore, two spots of the IEM VI World Championship Finals as well as points that could contribute to a slot being granted are also up for grabs.
