Jung-Hoon 'MarineKing' Lee won the Gview Thailand StarCraft II Invitational last weekend, defeating Song Hyun 'HerO' Deok 4:2 in the final. The much loved perennial runnerup took first place in the online event which featured plenty of well known names that fell out before the final four. CrunCher, xiaOt, SeleCT, qxc, mOoNan, Infi, Sheth, KiLLeR and mOOnGLaDe were all involved in the little publicised tournament.

MarineKing is famous for his two runnerup placings in GSL S2 and Code S January. He also placed 3rd-4th in the GSL Super Tournament in June. Most of his high profile defeats have come at the hands of the greatest SC2 players in the world. Last month MarineKing finished 2nd in the final of Code A, losing to GanZi, and found himself promoted back to Code S after winning in the up-and-down matches. He also won the CPL Invitational last month.
