ESC have added Danish players wazorN and suraNga to their lineup. pronax has been removed and kalle has stepped down to become a backup.

ESC Gaming swe have added

Jack 'wazorN' Henriksen and

Morten 'suraNga' Jensen. Making way for them are

Markus 'pronax' Wallsten, who has been removed, and

Karl William 'kalle' Haraldsen, who will now become a backup. The reasons given for each players departure from the active lineup were personal life issues, in kalle's case, and in-game issues, in pronax's.

Due to the two weeks it will apparently take for the Danes to be added to the roster for EPS they will play EPS Germany with

Jonas 'Jny' Opitz as a stand-in until then. The team will compete in the ESWC qualifier on Monday and Tuesday next week.

kalle explained his reasons for stepping down:

"The reason I can't play is because I started school again and I work also, so I don't have any time to play at the moment. My father doesn't let me play anymore when I live home, so when I move out maybe you will see me coming back!"

BARBARR gave his thoughts on the recruitments:

"So from the sad part to the happy part, we are bringing in one of the finest in game leaders out there (wazorN), and a huge talent from my point of view. wazorN and suraNga is from now on, onboard the ESC ship. With the "play hard go pro" mentality we will reach even bigger heights with Jack moving into our ESC-house."

New recruit

wazorN on joining the team:

"Back after the Full-Gaming project, and I really look forward to the chance to compete against the big teams again. With me I bring my good friend and former teammate, Morten "suraNga" Jensen. Together we will try to fill up the holes from pronax and kalle, and ofcurse try to bring ESC to an even higher level, which I truely believe we can achieve with this lineup!"

wazorN and suraNga were members of the Full Gaming team, along with Friis and ArcadioN, which defeated mTw and fnatic to place 1st at DSRACK #3 and then mTw to place 2nd at KGC #2. wazorN is the twin brother of mTw's ArcadioN and has been around the semi-elite tier of Danish CS since 2007, placing with the likes of SoA, AndTheSome/Mirror/PlayZeek and p00nhandlers.

ESC had previously been a team madeup of three Swedish players and two Norwegian players, though they used Dane karrigan as a stand-in for GameGune. ESC have gradually been on the rise in 2011, with star player MODDII leading the way. Their best placings were 4th at Dreamhack Summer and 2nd at GameGune.
