ImageFrench gamer Yoan 'ToD' Merlo, has decided to leave for Korea, however in an odd move has decided to leave his team Millennium in the process.

FR Yoan 'ToD' Merlo was a distinguished Warcraft 3 player who had much success participating in competitive Warcraft 3, where he was able to secure multiple podium places, his biggest achievement being his first place finish at the World eSports Games in 2006, he would win $31,000 for his win.

However, as it is the trend lately, many successful Warcraft 3 players have made the switch to the growing eSport Starcraft 2, and ToD was no exception. He has already found success in Starcraft 2, where he fully dominates players with his heavy micro-management style of play that he inherited from his Warcraft 3 days.

Some of his achievements include first place finishes in the ESL Pro Series, and the GameCred Cup, where he defeated the Ukrainian Zerg Terror; UA Dmytro 'DIMAGA' Filipchuk, in a dominating 3-1 fashion. He was also able to claim the French spot for the World Cyber Games, where he humiliated his opponent FR Pierre 'SarenS' Guivarch 3-0. He was also able to defeat the Korean Protoss hope KR Yang 'Alicia' Joon Sik 4-2, at the recent MLG Anaheim held in the United States.

ToD however, has bigger plans in his eSport's career, and during a Q and A session on his stream announced that he has decided to live in Korea for several months to further hone his abilities as a Starcraft 2 player, in an odd move however, he has also decided to leave his current team Millenium.

The Millennium Press Release is Below:

"It is with great regret that we announce that Millennium is no longer with ToD in the near future. After four months passed before our colors, a departure and a return to fanfare last July, the Protoss player ToD and Millennium have decided to separate by mutual agreement, for the second consecutive time.

Arriving in early January in the Millennium team , Tod soon showed that he was perfectly suited to the new RTS from Blizzard and the transition from Warcraft 3 had gone well. Performance at the Re-So and the Millennium Cup were able to show everyone that he was able to beat the best French and European players.

Since the first disagreement between the two parties, everything seemed to go well in the brave new world since Millennium has made the wish of the player by sending him to MLG Anaheim, however, there will be no more future plans between the two parties."
