SK Gaming moved past Electronic Sahara as the result of a forfeit win and WinFakt Fi again defeated Team ALTERNATE in two maps as the Swedish and Finnish teams moved on to the final qualifier for IEM VI Global Challenge New York.

Despite a little fanfare surrounding the matches, with ESL TV promising coverage of the SK match and as much as they could manage of the second, the night turned out to be quite underwhelming as eSahara were unable to field five players, despite being the team who initiated the protest in the first place, and WinFakt handled Alternate with relative ease in another Bo3.
