The SK, mouz, fnatic, EG, Na`Vi and mTw organisations will boycott ESWC's October event unless the $200 per player registration fee is removed. The SK Gaming, mousesports, fnatic, Evil Geniuses, Natus Vincere and mortal Teamwork organisations have all agreed to stage a boycott of the Esports World Cup (ESWC) for 2011 unless the French-based organisation decides to revert its decision to charge a $200 per player registration fee for its October event.
The teams are unhappy about the fee both in terms of the change it stands for in the way esports tournaments are run and the fact the prize purse for Counter-Strike 1.6 has been reduced from last year's.

Drop the CSS and CS female tourney and put that money into 1.6, it's where the bulk of CS viewership will come from and it's the only tournament that anyone will remember. No offense ladies, but in a world where MOBA games are becoming dominant titles drastic measures have to be taken to ensure the survival of the competitive FPS. We already lost Quake this year, goddamnit I can't stand to lose CS as well.
You should send out one player, if all of these teams are boycotting then you won't have any competition so you can easily take 1st place.
fnatic still carn, dsn, pita, xizt and gux ??
at their site theres no line up.
i think what they doing is right cause eswc never pay the prizes, so they wont pay for playing it.
they shoud not pay for playing it.
when you win: are Swedes
when there are problems: are Germans
