Frag eXecutors win e-Stars Seoul 2011
FX have defeated SK-Gaming in the grand finals of e-Stars Seoul 2011 and as a result have retained their title as the event champions.
Frag eXecutors have defeated
SK Gaming for the second time today, this time however to be crowned the e-Stars Seoul 2011 champions. After winning the upper-bracket finals the Poles lost the first map of the grand finals, de_tuscan. With pride and a bigger slice of the prize purse on the line however they bounced back on de_inferno, taking the last round of the overtime to win the event.

The first half of de_tuscan was a close affair between both teams. After winning the first two rounds as counter-terrorists, FX stepped up a level and dominated the first half of the first side. With FX's characteristic aggressive play the Poles were able to keep an economic advantage which allowed
Jarosław 'pasha' Jarząbkowski to run wild with his AWP. However SK managed to close the gap that FX had created and by the end of the first half march ahead of the Poles by 1 round.
When the teams swapped sides SK continued to build on the lead that they had created by taking the terrorist pistol round. With
Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg calm, collected and taking control of the second half SK marched into a 16:9 victory on the first map.
Due to the fact that FX knocked SK down to the lower-bracket earlier in the tournament both teams now required just one map to win the event, that map was de_inferno and neither team would give up without a fight.
de_inferno was a back and forth match which saw both teams constantly exchanging rounds. As normal, FX went for their aggressive play-style while SK opted for a more slow and meticulous style. However, after 30 rounds the teams were tied up at 15:15 with neither team being able to create a definitive lead which brought he map into overtime.
FX began OT on the counter-terrorist side and took all three rounds following SK's failure to break the Polish teams lines. When the teams swapped sides each round was intense with neither team wanting to give in. After two rounds however, FX were in the lead by the skin of their teeth and in the final round it was
Filip 'NEO' Kubski that sealed the deal for the Poles, killing off the final Swedish resistance to earn a well deserved victory over the Swedes.
