SK Gaming 16:8 mTw on de_forge (CT 11:4 T, T 5:4 CT)

SK Gaming began on the Counter-terrorist side of de_forge and built up a 6 round lead at the start of the map following the pistol round victory. With plenty of open space and a heavy economic advantage, Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson used the terrain and his AWP to great effect, picking off players left, right and centre. Furthermore, Johan 'face' Klasson and Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund used the heavily aim-based map to showcase their rifle power. With the Danes failing to reply to the Swedish onslaught, after the first 15 rounds SK led by a score of 11:4. mTw did pick up the pace towards the end of the half, however it was too little too late.

When the teams swapped roles the Danes were hungry to secure rounds however they did not have anywhere near the same success as SK did on their Counter-terrorist side. After success in the pistol rounds the Danes ran out of luck and the SK, smelling the upper-bracket finals spot was close, hunted it down. In the end, SK won the map with a score of 16:8 (5:4 on the second half).

SK Gaming will face off against Frag eXecutors tomorrow morning at 3:00CET in the upper-bracket final after the Polish team defeated defending champions Natus Vincere with a score of 16:8 on de_forge. The match will take place on the more traditional de_dust2 and the winner of the match will face off against the losers-bracket finalist for the first place prize on de_tuscan.

Other updates:

Earlier this morning, local team project_kr was crushed by WinFakt Fi with a score of 16:5 on de_tuscan in the second round of the lower-bracket and as a result were eliminated from the tournament. x6tence and both UMX teams were also knocked out of the tournament in the second round after losing their matches.

In the meantime, WinFakt and currently playing fnatic while Mousesports are going to head-to-head with TyLoo in order to stay within the tournament.

Following the above match ups, only two more games will be played today (being the losers-bracket fourth round fixtures) while the rest of the tournament will be concluded tomorrow.
