IEM returns to Kiev for Global Challenge

ImageIEM will return to Kiev, Ukraine, for a Global Challenge in January of 2012. There will be $93,000 split between CS, SC2 and LoL.

The Intel Extreme Masters will return to the CyberSport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine, for a Season VI Global Challenge in January. From January 19th-22nd there will be LoL, SC2 and CS tournaments held, with a total prize pool of $93,000. As with the other Global Challenges players from other regions, Asia and America, will have chances to attend.

The CyberSport Arena contains 200 computers, a sports bar and can house 150 visitors in its spectator hall, which is equipped with a stage.

At the IEM V European Championship Finals, held in Kiev, it was SE SjoW who took the SC2 title, RU Cooller who took the QL title and SE fnatic who were crowned CS champions.
