Frag eXecutors have defeated the DTS in the grand finals of ASUS Summer 2011, leaving the Poles to walk away $3,600 better off.

Frag eXecutors have defeated the DTS in the grand finals of ASUS Summer 2011, leaving the Poles to walk away $3,600 better off.The grand finals of ASUS Summer 2011 began with
Frag eXecutors taking on
DTS on de_train. FX started on the counter-terrorist side and marched into an early lead, taking seven rounds in quick succession before DTS could respond. By the end of the first half, FX led by a score of 13 rounds to the 2 of the Ukrainians. When the teams swapped roles, FX continued to pile on the pressure and in the end took the first map with a comfortable score of 16:3.
DTS, not deterred by their first map beating, came out fighting on the the second map, de_inferno. After winning the pistol rounds the Ukrainian team kept calm and collected, moving into a 5:0 lead. As the game progress however, so too did the Poles fightback and by the end of the first half, FX managed to pull ahead by one round with a score of 8:7. FX continued to build on their momentum in the second half and in the end managed to defeat DTS with a score of 16:10 to secure the $3,600 first place prize as well as the title of ASUS Summer 2011 champions.

Lions swe and
Natus Vincere were originally suppose to play at the same time as the grand finals for the third place prize, however both teams decided to split the 3rd and 4th place prizes between them. Lions meanwhile were knocked out of the European IEM GC Guangzhou qualifier after losing to TCM-Gaming in the losers bracket of the tournament with a score of 16:7 on de_inferno.
