Frag eXecutors earned their slot in the grand finals of the ASUS Summer 2011 event after defeating Lions swe in the closest and most action packed matches of the tournament so far.

The match began on de_nuke and after both teams showed off strong defensive play, each team racked up 12 rounds as Counter-terrorists. Furthermore, Jim 'zneel' Andersson and Filip 'NEO' Kubski were going head to head, pulling off some amazing plays for their teams, however in the overtime rounds it was the Swede that managed to outshine neo and company to take the first map with a score of 19:15. After losing the first map, FX bounced back with a 16:11 victory on de_dust2 after a strong 11:1 score in the second half of the map. To secure a slot in the grand finals, both teams clashed on de_inferno and neither team gave up without a fight. After bringing the scores to 15:15, three overtimes were needed before the Poles finally pulled out ahead of the Swedes to win the match with a score of 25:22.

DTS faced off against Natus Vincere in the second sem-final match which saw DTS defeat the ASUS Spring 2011 champions on both de_inferno with a score of 16:13 and de_train with a score of 16:9.

The grand finals between DTS and Frag eXecutors is set to take place today at 16:30CET with the battle for third place between Lions and Na'Vi taking place alongside the match.
