ASUS Summer: first group-stage matches over
After a short delay, the first group-stage matches of the ASUS Summer event have now been played out.

After a short delay, the first group-stage matches of the ASUS Summer event have now been played out.In Group A,
Frag eXecutors got off to a comfortable start, defeating
fbgaming on de_dust2 with a score of 16:5 followed by de_nuke with a score of 16:9, giving the Poles three points.
Virtus.Pro on the other hand found themselves waiting for
Headache to arrive to play their match. After waiting for two hours, the Russian team were awarded a default victory for the first map and when Headache did arrive they put on a good show. Nevertheless, de_nuke ended with a score of 22:20 in favour of Virtus.Pro, giving the Russians three points.
Group B has witnessed
DTS defeat
uPro Legends on two very different maps; the first saw the Ukrainians struggle to defeat the Russians on de_dust2 with a close score of 16:14 however when the teams moved onto de_nuke, upro Legends ran out of steam, leaving DTS to destroy the Russians with a score of 16:3.
In the other group match up, two teams with a relative wealth of experience also clashed, however it was
Fear Factory that came out ontop of their match against
Addicted 2 Games after winning de_dust2 just with a score of 16:14 followed by a more relaxed score of 16:5 on de_nuke.
Lions swe have got off to a great start in Group C, defeating
ultimo on de_dust2 with a more than health score of 16:3. Ultimo did not give up without a fight however, picking up 13 rounds on de_nuke, Lions however secured their 3 points in end by bringing the score to 16:13.
In contrast,
KerchNET bagged their first win against
Just with scores of 16:9 on de_dust2 and 16:5 on de_nuke.
As expected,
Natus Vincere have also got off to a dominating start, defeating both
Gabline and
59'57 Rigid with scores of 2:0 in quick succession.
Burn are trailing behind the Ukrainians after defeating
Storm on both de_nuke and de_inferno. With the new rules however, Storm managed to pickup 1 point, putting them in third place in Group D, after taking de_dust2 off Burn with a 16:7 score.
