The Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge Guangzhou preliminary qualifier #2 concluded yesterday afternoon with TCM-Gaming , Electronic Sahara , Soltec and Lions swe easily defeating their final round opponents with 2:0 scores. Furthermore, Soltec managed to pull off an exceptional performance, defeat teamKR with just four men to earn their slot in the European qualifier of the Global Challenge Guangzhou event.

As a result of their performances in their respective preliminary qualifiers, the following eight teams have earned the right to partipate in the main European qualifier of the IEM GC Guangzhou event which takes place on August 14:



The top three teams from the European qualifier will join Temporary and four Asian teams in the IEM6 Global Challenge Guangzhou, set to take place from October 1 - 5. A total of $40,000 is up for grabs at the event as well as slots and points for the IEM6 World Finals.
