From November 24 - 27 2011, BEAT IT will host their 2011 Counter-Strike 1.6 finals at Dreamhack Winter 2011 with $30,000 up for grabs for the top four teams. A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament with SK Gaming already securing their slot in the event after dominating Dreamhack Summer 2011.

Prior to the event, two slots will be awarded to the through the Dreamhack Winter BYOC tournament, however BEAT IT & Dreamhack will also be hosting qualifiers in Europe, South East Asia, the United States and five Dreamhack regional events.

BEAT IT 2011 Counter-Strike prize distribution:



Dreamhack Summer 2011 concluded with SK Gaming defeating mTw in the grand finals of the tournament with a score of 2:0 after two close maps. BEAT IT 2010 on the other hand was won by Evil Geniuses after the Americans defeated fnatic with a score of 2:1 in the grand finals of the Beijing event.
