[OK]Akke:"We have fnatic where we want them!"

By Mario 'Kolapz' Mađer
Aug 4, 2011 13:01 interviews Online Kingdom's Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall in anticipation of their match against Fnatic in the HoN Super Series finals.

SE Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall of EU Online Kingdom sat down with for an interview about EU Fnatic 's dominance, changes that HoN received in the past couple weeks and other topics.
The match between Online Kingdom and fnatic for the HoN Super Series Championship is right on the horizon and with the recent dominant streak of fnatic how do you prepare yourself for such a matchup? Do you intensify anything or do you just try to focus on your own game?

SE Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall
"I'm really looking forward to the match. Not many tournaments are up and running at the moment and it's always fun to face a great team like fnatic. Even if they have been very dominant lately winning DreamHack Summer and such, I think we've got a very good grip of what they like to play, how they play and how we should counter them.

Preparations are always good to make, check their latest matches and see what they play etc. but it's also good to focus on your own gameplay as well. Both parts matter."
If you take a closer look at both teams where do you think you have the edge over fnatic?

SE Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall
"I don't want to go too close into strategic details for obvious reasons, I like when they do the same mistakes over and over but I think we have fnatic right where we want them strategic-wise. We know what they prefer to go and in my opinion they overate some heroes. About individual performances I do believe we have the better team. An example there is H4nn1, he was one of the best solo players in DotA and is for sure one of the best in HoN as well. We've also played together quite some time now (a long time for us atleast nothing compared to fnatic though) and we start to really unterstand each other. About the team spirit, I think Pow contributes a lot to that. Many people see him as a flamer but when he rages I just laugh so I think it's great!"
