Team Thermaltake sign a LoL team

With the competitive League of Legends season in full flow with 3 IEM events on the calendar as well as numerous WCG events, ESL Major Series and another Pro Series it comes as no surprise that Team Thermaltake have chosen to enter the LoL scene.

The team they have picked up have already qualified for the ESL Pro Series so they will be looking to impress their new organisation with their performances.

In addition, several of the players will look to qualify for the WCG tournament by entering the DE German WCG qualifier at Gamescom.

The line-up for Team Thermaltake is:

DE Sven "Noaphiel" Grothe
DE Marcus "Nefr0n" Räthe
DE Thomas "Nachtglanz" Kellner
AT Alexander "Atrocis" Nikolai
DE Max "IronVillain" Röthig
DE Daniel "Sonose" Schäfer

Team Captain, Noaphiel had this to say:

"Following the successful appearance of our team in the recent months and the upcoming ESL Pro Series, we are very happy to be able to challenge the current season under the flag of Team Thermaltake. We hope for a long-term partnership with Team Thermaltake and are confident of good results in the EPS Season."

Statement by Jens "Blackadder" Witt (Development Director):

"We are confident about League of Legends as an eSports title and are very happy to sign such a friendly team. The team will surely attack and fight for a playoff participation in the ESL Pro Series. In addition, we will announce a small raffle in the near future."
