coL.DongRaeGu talks about MLG Anaheim, feeling confident making it to the round of four, wanting to win for the Code S placement and to meet his foreign fansGSL invitee DongRaeGu has been interviewed by TeamLiquid about the upcoming MLG Anaheim event this weekend.
Soo Ho 'DongRaeGu' Park looks forward to his first foreign tournament with confidence, claiming he will finish at the top of his group, and make it to the round of four. With his eyes on the prize of fame and fortune, as well as his ticket out of Code B we'll see if this GSTL monster that has kept Team MVP alive single-handed in GSTL Season 1 which includes two closing triple kills against SlayerS and oGSs.TL can prove himself worthy of an MLG Championship, as well as a ticket to Code S!
Your pool in MLG Anaheim consists of NaNiwa, HayprO, TLO, and HuK. How do you feel about your group?
While
Soo Ho 'DongRaeGu' Park doesn't seem concerned with
Chris 'HuK' Loranger or
Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi, they are two players that cannot be underestimated, with several recent accomplishments and experience traveling to foreign tournaments which is certainly an advantage. In addition to those top players, you also have
Dario 'TLO' Wünsch and
Hayder 'HayprO' Hussein who have been training in Stockholm with the very talented
Carl Stefan 'MorroW' Andersson which will certainly give them plenty of practice against Zerg.
Are there any foreign players you want to meet or avoid at MLG Anaheim? And are there any Korean players you are especially careful of, or want to meet during this tournament?
DongRaeGu is seen as a ZvT specialist so we will surely have some exciting games on our hands if he ends up playing against either
Seong Won 'MMA' Mun or
Jong-Hyun 'Mvp' Jung! DRG's first televised match against MMA was in GSTL May in the finals, where MMA broke DRG's win streak and took the season but in recent revenge of GSTL Season 1, DRG beat MMA in the final game of the first series between SlayerS and MVP. Although we have not seen MVP and DRG meet in any televised games yet, that series could never be disappointing.

"If I had to be honest, I haven't paid any attention to pool play. I'm preparing to face the Korean players since no matter what, I'm going to win all my games and make it to the Round of Four as the first place in my group."

"To be honest I'm a bit afraid because the Korean players are really skilled... but because I'm really confident in my matchup against Terran, and two of the Terran players I acknowledge (MVP, MMA) are participating, I want to play a good game against them in front of many foreign fans."
