German EPS Winter Groups revealed

Last night the Electronic Sports League drew the groups for the upcoming German Winter Pro Series live on ESL TV. The draw featured sixteen teams, including Scandinavian team ESC Gaming, who during GameGune announced re-homing plans in order to compete in the competition.

The sixteen teams were drawn into four groups of four and will see the two highest placing teams of each group advance to the playoffs. This is the second time this format has been used in the Pro Series, as a typical Pro Series normally has all the teams grouped together. The season will commence in mid-August, but teams have until the 31st of July to finalise their rosters and confirm them on the ESL website.
