IeSF announced with $14,000+

ImageAn exciting and new eSports tournament has been announced with some great prize pools.

Starcraft 2 is rapidly gaining popularity all over the world, and tournaments are appearing left and right with prize pools increasing from the thousands to the tens of thousands. A new league called the World Online Gaming League has sprung up with its focus on eSports to help facilitate competitive gaming through its three major titles: Starcraft 2, FIFA Online 2, and Alliance of Valiant Arms.

The World Online Gaming League or WOGL for short has partnered with the IeSF or International eSports Federation to host several tournaments in their three major eSport titles.

The IeSF will host their 2011 IeSF World Championship in Andong, South Korea where 40 nations and their best players in Starcraft 2, FIFA, and AVA will compete against each other for the crown of best nation in each of the respective games.

With promises of up to $14,000 for the first place winner, with flight travel and meals provided for by the winners of the qualifiers, the IeSF will surely be an amazing event for many gamers in Starcraft 2.

All Events:
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must hold residence in the U.S.
Must have a valid U.S passport.
Must be able to travel to Korea.
Must represent WOGL, e-sports, your team, and the United States in a professional manner.
Must attend ALL IeSF events while in attendance. (banquets, awards,etc)

Starcraft 2
One player will represent the U.S
Prize - Flight, accommodations, and meals at venue provided.
You must be able to provide your passport when asked. If not we will take the 2nd place finisher.
Under 18 you must have permission from parents and school to travel before hand.

Registration is currently open, to qualify for the IeSF through the World Online Gaming League. All the qualifiers will be held online, until the final World Championship held in South Korea.
