After an hour delay, SK Gaming have defeated KerchNET on both tuscan and nuke to secure their first two wins of the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8 LAN Finals.

SK Gaming began their first game on the CT side of de_tuscan and ran into an early lead after taking the opening pistol round. After losing the first two rounds, KerchNET decided to buy rifles and deagles, however their gamble didn't pay off and as a result they were pushed onto the back heel once again, losing the next round with the classic eco bash.

From there, KerchNET were able to take six rounds before swapping sides (first half score 9:6). The Ukrainians showed that when they committed to locking down a bombsite they could do so with style, however a lack of confidence pushing into bombsites in the opening rounds proved to be their downfall.

The second half began with SK aggressively pushing middle, however the KerchNET static defenses were to strong for the Swedes. Losing the first round however did not deter SK with the Swedes buying deagles and taking out some of the Ukrainian players. The firepower that KerchNET had at hand however was too strong and as a result they were able to take the second round. Sustaining economic damage from the deagle push however, KerchNET were locked down by an unexpected buy from SK in the third round. From that point, KerchNET (although enthusiastic) never managed to regain their stride. The second half ended with SK securing match point with a terrorist score of 7:2 (16:8 overall).

The second map began with some very fast and aggressive terrorist play by SK which won the Swedes the opening rounds. However in the fourth round KerchNET were swift to respond to SKs tactics, taking their first CT round. Throughout the first half, KerchNET slowly build up confidence and momentum which gave them the edge towards the end of the first half, however their late bloom meant that SK built a 10:5 lead going into their CT side.

When the teams swapped roles however, Johan 'face' Klasson showed the Ukrainians how to play as a Counter-terrorist. Out-aiming everyone that got in his way with both his USP and M4, face and the rest of the SK players managed to rack up six rounds with quick succession, taking the second half of the map with a clean sheet (6:0, 16:5 overall)

SK Gaming will shortly be facing their next opponents, fbgaming , in their third match of the tournament. The Russian side is a last minute mix of Russian stars with the lineup featuring the likes of Alexey 'LeX' Kolesnikov and Anton 'Sneg' Cherepennikov.
