fnatic 's players clashing with the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8 LAN finals, the Swedish team have decided to withdraw from the tournament, leaving Group C with just one team (
KerchNET ).
Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon gave HLTV.org the following statement:
This means that a total of eight teams have withdrawn from the ICSC8 second group-stage so far and as a result of this announcement, either
Moscow Five or
Virtus.Pro (who are currently sitting in third place in their groups) will be awarded fnatic's LAN finals slot.
Before their departure from the tournament, fnatic lost to KerchNET on de_train with a score of 16:13 in their first 'second group-stage' fixture of the tournament.
