Global Challenge Gamescom announced
Teams from around the world will fight for $32,000 and 1 World Championship spot.

Teams from around the world will fight for $32,000 and 1 World Championship spot.The ESL has announced the first event on the IEM Season 6 circuit. A Global Challenge will be held at Gamescon, Germany.
8 LoL teams from around the world will battle it out for $32,000 and 1 World Championship spot.
Qualifiers
4
European teams will earn their spots at Gamescom via 2 online qualifiers which will take place on July 9th and July 16th.
Each qualifying phase will offer 2 IEM slots.
The
North American teams will earn 8 slots for their qualifiers through the Go4LoL tournaments, in addition their will be 6 invited teams. These 14 teams will then fight for 2 x IEM slots at the American Final which will run from 13th-16th July.
The Asian teams will have various regional tournaments which will see 4 teams from the Chinese qualifiers, 2 teams from the Singapore and Malaysian qualifiers, 1 team from the Phillipine qualifiers and 1 team from the Rest of Asia all enter into an Asian Final to claim 1 Asian IEM slot.
