Chris 'HuK' Loranger once again proved to be the man as he won the HomeStoryCup #3, defeating
Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi 4:2 in the Grand Final. The Dreamhack Summer champion bagged himself €2,000 (~$2,836) for winning his second LAN tournament, back-to-back, this month.

HuK's HSC campaign seemed to begin inauspiciously as the Canadian 0:2 lost to France's
Stephano in their Group F Bo3. Somehow this got the Liquid man a bracket draw which saw him beat ToD and Xlord to reach the upper semi-finals. Defeating his nemesis IdrA there 2:1 HuK moved to the upper final where NaNiwa got the better of him in a Bo5 which went the distance.
From the lower bracket HuK defeated MC 3:1 to get another chance against the Swedish Protoss. For MC the tournament proved to be yet another disappointment as the player who might have been cited as the best in the world, thanks to his GSL accomplishments, found himself finishing outside of the top 2 for the third tournament in a row.
